Trump Lies, People Die!

The self-appointed stable genius once said : "what you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening."

Make no mistake about it, I heard it straight from the horse's mouth. This is what a self-appointed "really smart, very stable genius" said at Thursday’s White House briefing :

As expected, now the stable genius claims that his comments on injecting disinfectants were "sarcastic". The stable genius got so ridiculed all over the media for the next 24 hours, he tried to spin it as "sarcasm".

Was hydroxychloroquine sarcasm too? The stable genius and Faux News peddled hydroxychloroquine for weeks, now that it’s proven to cause higher fatality rate, there’s no more mention of it.

Even if he was being sarcastic, which he wasn't, this would be no time for a real president to be sarcastic. People are fucking dying.

Not even Faux News is buying the "sarcasm" excuse.

Yesterday, the company that makes Lysol products issued a warning, and urged people not to try injecting disinfectants to treat coronavirus after the stable genius said it in Thursday's briefing. “We must be clear that under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body through injection, ingestion or any other route.”

Think about it folks, a foreign company, feels compelled to put out a freaking statement to Americans,  telling them not to drink POISON!!! The fact that the disinfectant manufacturer has to come out and warn people not to inject it to the body has made this an all time greatest comedy gold.

Putin has managed to turn the United States upside down, and a laughing stock without firing a bullet. Now the staunch followers of the "really smart, very stable genius" defend the indefensible and do what they do best, they place blame, and make up excuses to justify their dear leader behavior.

People this stupid shouldn’t be president, but here we are. Remember what the very stable genius said, "what you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening."

When you elect a clown, expect a circus!

Happy Throwback Thursday!

At the time the picture at the end of this post was taken, I was probably around 5 years old. It's been so long. To be honest, I don't remember much of those times. This is a picture of my sister and I, sitting on my father's car.

I haven't been here long enough, but I don't remember seeing people posting nostalgia pictures from a different era of their lives.

I miss my childhood. Those were the best times of my life. All we did was eating, sleeping and playing. We enjoyed every moment without thinking about what was going to happen. Mom was always there when we needed her. She is sorely missed.

Too bad I don't have many pictures from childhood. Maybe this post will inspire me to scan and digitize some old negatives and pictures I have saved in a box. Bringing some of my old images to digital hopefully will allow me to restore old pics to use in future Throwback Thursdays!

What say you?

Donald Trump The Wannabe Dictator

Did you watch Trump's Nurember rally the other day? Just an utterly unhinged, childish temper tantrum. At one point, I swear I saw somebody motioning for the guys in the white jackets.

So now, once again, our dictator wannabe claimed that he, not governors, had "total authority" to open states amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Constitution of the United States, give states, not the federal government, "police power" to regulate activities during a public health crisis.

Governor Andrew Cuomo is 100% correct, "we don't have a King, we have an elected president".

The fact is, Trump ignored warnings, downplayed the virus and said it would go away by April.

Trump wasted time holding rallies and playing golf instead of planning and testing; people died as a result. Imagine if you had lost a family member because the President played politics instead of protecting the country against a deadly virus?

Yesterday, Fox News host Bret Baier called out the orange turd hypocrisy, and said, "imagine how conservatives would have responded had former President Barack Obama declared that the president’s “authority is total,” as Donald Trump did this week." Conservative heads would've exploded if Obama claimed Trump's total authority."

The orange turd is now trying to blame the Coronavirus on the World Health Organization, and is complaining that the WHO praised China for its transparency. Guess who else praised China for its transparency? The same moron who never takes responsibility.

The orange turd lies so much he can’t keep track of what he said. And still his followers accept his verbal diarrhea.

History will not be kind to those that voted, and continue to enable the Orange Combover Caligula. Trumpers went from screaming about Obama death panels to asking how quickly we can kill grandma to help Wall Street.

The self appointed Stable Genius who claimed, "I alone can fix it", has blood on his hands.

Today Is A Great Day, It's My Birthday

What a difference a day makes. Just the other day I was talking about my retirement, (12 months, 1 hours, 18 minutes, 50 seconds until I retire). Now I'm worried whether this time next week I would still have a job. Yesterday, my employer announced another round of temporary furloughs. A move that will affect healthcare services to our community. Looking on the bright side, I still have a job.

For my 64th birthday, I thought I would be spending my special day in a weekend mini vacation getaway somewhere; attending a Phillies game at Citizens Park, in Brooklyn Bridge Park taking pictures of the New York City's skyline, spending time with a small group of close friends.

As luck would have it, thanks to the Coronavirus, this morning I ended up sitting in front of the computer talking with family and friends over the phone. The main conversation revolved around what to do on my first week of retirement. I had a friend ask me if I was scared. I answered that I am frightened, and excited at the same time. There is an inspirational quote that says, "As you embark on the exciting journey into retirement, you will experience a transition that will be both thrilling and terrifying.” Only time will tell.

Happy birthday to me!!!
